New Online Journal on Green Labor!

 “The Labor Movement has gone green!”   The National Labor College launches up-to-date information on new developments in green policy, technology and work processes from a labor perspective

San Jose City College Opens a Dolores Huerta Labor Institute! San Jose City College recently expanded the scope & reach of their labor studies program and renamed it the “Dolores Huerta Labor & Community Institute.”

DHLI Executive Director Honored as National Top #2 Asian American “Unsung Hero” for 2009

Dolores Huerta Labor Institute executive director John Delloro was honored as Top # 2 Asian American “Unsung Hero” for 2009 by Asian Pacific Americans for Progress.  Also, Mayor Villaraigosa recently appointed Delloro to the Taxicab Commission, which oversees the largely immigrant taxicab industry.
