Do you work for a living?  Most of us do, and those who do not yet work for a living, are surrounded by workers.  What have been your workplace experiences? Is it more important to earn a "decent living" or to work at what we honestly believe in and enjoy? What is fair compensation for our labor? How do we respond to racism, nativism, and other forms of prejudice that affect hiring and job conditions?   How has immigration affected labor conditions? Can labor unions protect workers?
